There is plenty of beautiful warm sandy beaches in the US and lots of travel articles you will find on the best beaches, but not many who write the articles have ever stepped, played, swam, rolled or slept on those beaches... So, how does a beach get on the Top 9 US Hoot Foot list! Pretty Simple! The water has to be clear as the blue sky, the sand is soft as Vicuna wool and my feet left their prints🦶🦶
Kalalau, Kauai
This was feet down the hottest beach my feet have curled their toes on!! It is magical, mystical and alluring. However, it was the most difficult to get to! and you will sleep at least 1 night on this beach because it is a 11-mile hike through the Napoli Coast jungle but don't let that slow your role! It is worth every step, and you will be checked into a trillion-star hotel😎
Marcos Island
Marco Island is the largest of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, located on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida. It is eye popping beautiful tropical sun-washed white sand beaches and a casual easy paced lifestyle. Sunshine, dolphins, clearwater and sun sports!
Gulf Shores, AL
Seriously! Gulf Shores Alabama! There is more beautiful soft white sand here than any other beach I have been on and lots of public beaches to choose from and plenty of space to park your bike and setup that Tommy Bahama Chair!
Barefoot Beach, FL
This quiet public beach is nestled in a very nice community and is off the beaten map. Loved the water and sand here! Lots of parking but will need to pay $8 at the gate to get enter for the day. and plenty of beach to play on!
Fernandina Beach, FL
You can park your car on this beach, and you will want to bring your surf boards and stay for AWHILE. The beach is very clean with a great vibe and lots of local restaurants to choose from after working up an appetite on the beach
Anini Beach, Kauai
Laid-back beach offering clear, calm waters for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding and windsurfing and you can tent camp for $3 a night!! You will definitely want to snorkeling gear for this beach! There is an abundance of beautiful tropical fish, eels and a Sea Turtle circled around me getting as close as a few feet!
Rialto Beach, WA
Not all beaches are created equal, and this beach breaks the rules of what makes a Hot Foot beach but proves the point that there is an exception for every rule!
Picturesque shoreline with a wild landscape of sea stacks, geological formations & driftwood. This beach will blow your mind and have you buying extra cloud space to store all of the pics you will be taking!
Venice Beach, CA
Venice Beach in Cali is just flat-out fun! There is a lot going on here! Skateboard, Roller Skating, Basketball, Tennis, bicycle path on the beach that goes for miles, Pickle Ball, boardwalk that goes miles with restaurants shops, street vendors and musicians. I spent most my time eating and watching all the talented people perform.
Panama City, Fl
Finishing out the list is yet another white sand clearwater beach in Florida on the Gulf of Mexico. Lots of beautiful Shells and another good vibe with plenty of free Public Access.
There are plenty of other beaches my toes have curled up in around the US and certainly could have made the list, but these were the ones that filled my cup!
